The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is currently conducting a Free Nutritious Meal Survey (MBG), which aims to collect accurate data on nutritious food consumption in the community as a basis for evaluating and formulating national nutrition policies.
As part of efforts to maintain data quality, Ms. Tri Ratna Dewi, Senior Statistician at the BPS South Sumatra Province, conducted direct supervision in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) District.
At the same time, Ms. Mardiana, Senior Statistician at the BPS South Sumatra Province, along with Ms. Ifro Nadhiatur Risqi and her team, carried out supervision in Muara Enim District.
The supervision activities included:
1. Checking the completeness and accuracy of questionnaire responses
2. Assisting field staff in interviewing respondents
3. Verifying survey locations and targets
4. Evaluating the data collection process to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
With professional oversight, it is hoped that the results of the MBG Survey will be valid, reliable, and timely data, thereby supporting policies to improve nutrition among the population across Indonesia.
