Abstract
•
The total number of air transport passengers departing from SMB II
Airport in September 2020 was 35,137 people, down 13.17 percent compared
to August 2020 which was 40,467 people. With 35,137 domestic
passengers, a decrease of 13.17 percent compared to August 2020 with
40,467 people.
• The total number of air transport passengers
arriving at SMB II Airport in September 2020 totaled 35,244 people, or
decreased 10.29 percent compared to August 2020 which amounted to 39,285
people. With the number of domestic flight passengers as many as 35,244
people, down 10.29 percent compared to August 2020 which was 39,285
people.
• During September 2020 all direct international commercial
flights at Sultan Mahmud Badarudin (SMB) II Airport are temporarily
closed due to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic
Sea Transportation
•
The number of ship visits in September 2020 was 429 ship visits,
consisting of 374 ship visits from within the country and 55 ship visits
from abroad, this September ship visits increased by 2.14 percent
compared to August 2020 which amounted to 420 visits.
• The total
number of goods loaded in September 2020 was 177,153 tons, up 4.25
percent compared to August 2020 which was 169,935 tons. With 60,646 tons
of domestic goods, an increase of 3.76 percent compared to August 2020,
which was 58,449 tons. And goods for foreign destinations were 116,507
tons, or an increase of 4.50 percent compared to August 2020 which
amounted to 111,486 tons.
• The total number of goods unloaded in
September 2020 was 159,931 tons, up 20.99 percent compared to August
2020 which was 132,184 tons. With the number of domestic goods as many
as 105,098 tons, an increase of 40.23 percent compared to August 2020
which was 74,945 tons. And goods for foreign destinations were 54,833
tons, or a decrease of 4.20 percent compared to August 2020 which was
57,239 tons.
Land Transportation
• In order to support
population mobility in the New Normal era, PT KAI Divre III Palembang
reopened Economy class trains to Lubuk Linggau - Palembang and vice
versa as of 24 September 2020. The number of train passengers departing
in September 2020 was 982 people. Cumulatively, the number of train
passengers in South Sumatra for the January - September 2020 period
reached 270,818 people.
