1. Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) * South Sumatra in August 2016 amounted to 94.56 percent, indicating that in general the purchasing power of farmers in August 2016 still decreased compared to the base year of 2012. However, compared to the previous month, NTP in August 2016 experienced an increase of 1.61 percent due to the increase in the price index received by farmers is lower than the increase in the price index paid by farmers.

2. Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of South Sumatra in August 2016 amounted to 102.79 percent, indicating that in general the purchasing power of farmers in August 2016 was better than the base year of 2012. And when compared to the previous month, NTUP August 2016 rose amounting to 1.20 percent.
